Just observing that she sometimes seems to act as a sort of "concerned big sister" figure for Konata is all, and Konata seems to treat her as such to a certain degree. More on the conjecture side it could be theorized Nanako's a sort of subconscious surrogate mother-figure for Konata, who after all essentially grew up without one.
