Not much action but I was perfectly happy because of more Nanoha x Fate suggestiveness (Oh, Seven Arcs, you tease…), Signum gets called ‘oneesan’ but not by a girl *sigh* and a little bit more background into Erio.
Fate looks hot in vest and slacks. :D~~ I bet she’d look hot in those painter’s denim overalls from DOA (which character was that?) too. Thought it was actually quite funny that her speedy evasion used her sinister Fate-as-villain theme music from the first season…
Nanoha goes Demon Teacher on Tiia. Probably because she believes in her leadership potential. One doesn’t take efforts to carve rotten wood.
Signum-nee is always hot when she’s being evil. Of all the girls, the brown uniform really does suit her best. Ditto being in the military. There seems to be a Fatenum (Fate x Signum) resistance group ("Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once!") in the AnimeSuki forums. Of course not as large as the Nanoha x Fate legions but definitely something interesting to consider, if only to add more spice to NxF dynamics! ;)
Hayate doesn’t get to drive a Ferrari because her name isn’t Testarossa.
Subaru eats just like a guy - she’s got the tomboy moé (like Kagura)! Real charm-up for me. Will be even better if she grows up to be a beer drinker too. LOL
Erio feels that Fate feels a lot of sympathy for kids who had to grow up without family. Really nice scene with Fate glowing in the warmth of Nanoha’s love. I just went: "Awwwww…" at the above scene.
An echo from the first season. The boss gadget had a Jewel Seed! I can so see a StrikerS Nano! parody about Fate going NIPA~~ at the happy memories of love at first sight. LOL

Vita spends an awful lot of time starring at Nanoha’s ass. ;) And being tsundere too. But also a reminder about Nanoha’s serious injury that was hinted at during the flashback (and in the context of Signum teasing Fate for failing her Enforcer exam twice in a row) in the A’s to StrikerS comics - this seems to cast a shadow on the rest of the team thus Fate asking Nanoha if she was ok in Ep 2. Also looks like our evil Mad Scientist (*not* Kabitzin) is collecting SaiKano-type kids from ‘Project F’ - without a doubt, Erio and Caro are linked to it. Perhaps Fate too. Was this Jeil Scaglietti fellow an ex-colleague of Precia’s?
I notice you neglected to mention the reappearance of Yuuno in the preview for episode 07. :p

Skane, the ferret must die! [/jk] I actually feel quite sorry for him (and Arf) - they had big roles in the first season but they don’t even warrant a mention on the official website’s main character list.
Kabitzin, would be so cool if that parody was animated too. I actually laughed out loud and kept laughing for a minute after seeing the panel with Nanoha doing Yui-nee and the newbies smoking crisply in the background.
Zafira - not sure if he prefers cheerleader or the pet dog treatment with ribbons etc.

So I see now: Fate/Signum, Nanoha/Vita and some Hayate/(instructor) hints but none of them rival Fate/Nanoha…
I actually feel that Yuuno can’t make a much of difference now…
I remember from both the last seasons…he was always present yet did his and Nanoha’s closeness even come close to Fate nad Nanoha?!

The best he can do now is reclaiming Raging Heart and that wouls reach break Nanoha…That is if RH is willing to return to her previous boring unworthy master….
If that does happen…I am hoping for RH going Rin on his ass by saying that:
