By that point, Athrun had also buggered off... as did Lacus for that matter. Dullindal created Meer just to make sure people didn't know she'd gone off to Earth... of course, with Meer's death that became bloody obvious again that she'd gone out and away from ZAFT. Of the people there, the ones who SHOULD have been aware of the relationship were as follows: Yzak (he'd fought beside the Clyne faction at the end, and in doing so gained the mojo required to make two Gundam kills in a row), Dearkka (who'd been around to see it blossom), Athrun (he'd amicably ended things with Lacus and got together with Cagalli... even if that didn't work out), the three Masaumune pilots (AFAIK, they were with the Archangel for a bit, where Kira's thing with Lacus would've been common knowledge), and maybe Meyrin (since she'd been around Athrun the whole time since they defected from ZAFT again).
