From being very cold, it’s now abnormally hot. The school splits into half to reveal a water theme park for great fanservice. However I had expected a rather more madcap finale but it felt strangely fillery. It’s been a mad ride but overall I’m still glad I caught this series as it’s definitely made for the otaku in mind. It’s pretty shocking that it’s been licensed for the US since the jokes are rather obscure and sub-culturally-specific. Maybe they think that if Azumanga Daioh (which relies a lot on Japanese puns for its humour) could do well, maybe the fans will support this too.
