“I am Akane Serizawa from Class 1-D. I am a ‘my pace’ O blood type and an action-packed Gemini. My charm point is my neko mimi hair and my extracurricular activity is Drama Club. Currently, I am… I am… a stand-in for Miyamoto-sensei.” Serizawa is one of my favourite characters and this episode does a great job of showcasing her; I certainly enjoyed it a lot more than the Behoimi episode.
Suzune and Otome make an appearance again at last! Next to Serizawa x Kurusu, they feel like such a seasoned couple. :P
Quite predictable but still hugely funny how Rei-oneesama effortlessly manipulated Serizawa into imitating the missing Becky during the PTA inspection. Frankly why any PTA would object to Becky instead of someone like Azumanga’s Kimura is a mystery to me.
Serizawa manages to pull it off gloriously after suffering some serious self-doubt and obstacles. Much acclaim for the Miyamoto Six.
Rokugo is normally such a bland character, even if she is so nice that she has a Bodhistava statute as her core during the Shoujo Q OP dissection of the characters. Evil look +10 to Charisma! I guess that’s why many of us would love to see an Evil Lacus.
It’s Becky who is imitating Rokugo so that she can observe things while not having to endure the PTA’s inquisition. Serizawa loses it and goes into attack mode.
Temperance
A really lovely Serizawa x Kurusu scene. The atmosphere of the park, blowing bubbles, the music, talking about things that were important to them. Serizawa almost asks Kurusu to join the Drama Club but is thwarted/saved by Igarashi-sensei’s passing honk. Going for the the cake fair date (holding hands!) at the end was a sweet and lovely touch to finish off.
