I’ve not been enjoying School Rumble Nigakki for a while but this episode was nice and Harima succeeds in doing two very considerate (and non-backfiring) things for Tenma. Later Ep 15 mainly features Harima x Yakumo tension while Ep 16 concentrates on Harima x Eri fashion and the latter, for me, just wins hands down (but I’m not blogging them). Instead, let’s head back to MikoAri fun.
I’ve only recently started to watch Simoun even though I’ve heard a lot of good things about it from the Yuricon Mailing List, hashihime, Mangaminx and WRex. Partly because the supply of fansubs seemed erratic but also because I suspected that Simoun’s epic scope would make it more conducive to marathoning (which, at the very least, has made Neveril’s extended sulk less annoying).
Only the briefest flicker of Yaya in this episode as the story preps us and Nagisa for the unveiling of Shizuma’s past love life and the traumatic events that turned her in a serial yuri playgirl (not quite emphasized enough in the anime IMHO) and delinquent elected school leader.
