Keroro invades the school sports festival to try and weasel Natsumi into owing him a debt of gratitude. She desperately wants to run the three-legged race with Aki but her mom is tied up with work as usual. Needless to say, everything Keroro tries goes wrong. Just the barest slivers of Natsumi x Koyuki but there were some other really nice moments.
The heart-eyed girls was just hilarous and reminded me of the Shizuru fangirls. Man, Koyuki’s such a horde of competitors that their screams of akogare for their Natsumi-sama deafen Fuyuki. As I recall from the manga, Fuyuki was made to attend the same school as Natsumi because Aki feared that Fuyuki, with his weird hobbies, would be bullied in any other school. This one is ok since Natsumi practically owns it. LOL
There’s not much that Koyuki-chan can do so while she notices Natsumi’s unhappinesses, she tries her best to be cheerful and supportive.
In the end, it’s Giroro who steps up to the challenge and does something for Natsumi. The closing scene with the roast sweet potato by the fire was really quite sweet and epitomises the rugged and soft sides of Giroro very well. It’s also good to see how Natsumi takes time to show her appreciation to Giroro.

I like Koyuki, but I’m rooting for Natsumi&Giroro. Erm… weird as the pairing might be. Erm… hmm… ah, who cares. It’s anime. To heck with inter-species problems. Wait… there’s an age difference too… by a magnitude of decades. Er… er…

I do kinda like Angel Moa, if only because she’s a Magical Girl Parody… who happens to be cute, and the episode where we meet the girls he’s modelled on was interesting. But I to have to admit that I watch this mostly for the Hinata women, Koyuki, and Giroro. And the numerous Gundam parodies. Heck, the reference to Doraemon in this ep and Fuyuki falling into Nobita-mode was equally fun.
I just wish I could get more of this, now.
