The focus of this episode is Keroro’s attempt to win back Dororo’s allegiance (who now sees himself a protector of the Earth and this city) but as far as my screencapping and discussions go, it’s another opportunity to celebrate Natsumi x Koyuki. Our favourite ninja girl somersaults in front of her beloved and asks to walk home with her.
Along the way, Koyuki asks Natsumi out for shopping; she’s lived all her life in the countryside and has no experience of shopping. However Natsumi turns her down because she fears Keroro is plotting something again and needs to keep an eye on him. However she promises to make it up to Koyuki.
Keroro’s plan is a success as Dororo turns up to sow the city with flower seeds. However, after blooming, the flowers are rapidly cleared by the city’s zealous cleaners. Momoka sorta salvages the situation by getting her all-powerful Nishizawa Corporation to transport all the gathered flowers to an island owned by the company.
On the way to school, Natsumi and Koyuki share a moment together admiring a surviving flower.
However, since this is the Keroro Gunso anime after all, the flower sprouts into a monstrous plant. The Nishizawa island has also been completely infested. I was wondering why Natsumi, with her invincible frog-beating moves, couldn’t get away in time or Koyuki, with her elite ninja skillz, couldn’t save Natsumi. But then I realized that either would violate one of the supreme laws of this series i.e. if there’s a chance for Natsumi to be groped by anything tentacle-like, she will be. (;^_^)
