Well, that was an interesting take on the normally tomboyish Mikochin. Also nice to see some character development for Akira especially her love of practical jokes. I still have Salva Nos playing in my head whenever she appears though. The star of this episode for me, though, was Eri strutting her tsundere stuff.

Classic Eri stuff. From her ‘chira’ stare to her flaming blue aura and then confronting Harima headon. I think it’s mainly because how Harima manages to so easily bring out Eri’s conflicting emotions that I started to like his character much more.

I’m not much of a Tenma fan especially in the first half of the first season but she’s a much more sympathetic character when she plays the good elder sister to Yakumo and when she’s flummoxing Eri with her stupidity. Eri will soooo crushed if she finds out that Harima’s true love is really Tenma since while she regards Tenma as a friend, she doesn’t regard her as a threat, competitor or even a peer. Mikochin facefaults were good too.

I’m [edit: not] sure if Eri and Harima would make a good couple but I can’t fault Eri for liking him. Despite his roguish appearance, he can be quite a gentleman. Eri skipping down the hall and her ‘nani yaten no yo, atashi’ were just too cute.
There is only one person who can make Harima reach his full potential: Yakumo.
There is only one person who can make Yakumo think about new things that matters: Harima.
However, other than Animal Friendship, an important attribute of Harima that intrigues Yakumo is that she cannot read his mind. If Harima falls for her (the very brief flash twds the end of the first season), that would remove that point of interest.
That is where Yakumo needs to grow. Provided that she doesn’t lose the ability or gain one to block it out, she needs to find a way to live with the fact that she can read all the DIRTY thought someone she likes is thinking.
I bet noone re3alizes it, but Mikochin and Banana boy (couldn’t think of his name…yea YAMADORI-KUN) scene was parody of Garasuno Kamen, a legendary unending manga because the author suddenly founded her own religion out of nowhere…
