The Yellow Rose Revolution continues to grip the school but family head honcho Rosa Foetida (Eriko) does not seem to be in the state to set things right. At Yoshino’s request, Yumi plays go-between for her and Rei. With Yumi’s mediation, Rei is able to understand Yoshino’s feelings a bit more and win the kendo tournament. She visits Yoshino at the hospital - the latter’s operation to correct her heart defect was successful - and they have a fresh start. Yoshino asks to be made Rei’s soeur again, receiving the rosary in Maria-sama’s grove. All is peaceful in the school again as a boom in souer reconciliations take place. Yumi, and thus us viewers, gets to know the junior pair of the Rosa Foetida (yellow rose) family, Rei and Yoshino. March loot. First volume of Sgt. Frog (though "Keroro Gunso" just sounds better!) from Amazon.co.uk. And at last, my Cardcaptor Sakura boxsets, via The Right Stuf International, has arrived! I’ve got the AVI/ASFs and the Hong Kong bootleg-quality DVDs from the supposedly official Sg license holder but the quality was so atrocious. Now I feel like I’m really watching CCS for the first time! Aaaah, ah-nyaaa goodness. On the other hand, this just had to arrive when I have a term paper due on Fri. orz
I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: Many sharp and toothy bits of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose smile,
And generous bosom, and hair antenna of shoujo command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read,
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed,
And on the pedestal these words appear:
“My name is Mai Tokiha, Otome of the Fire Stirring Ruby:
Look upon my ramen, ye Mighty, and be hungry!”
Like Karmaburn, I had a serious case of ramen craving due to Mai Otome 23.
