Sora Hitoshi presses Hazumu about Yasuna’s confession. She implies that it is irrelevant because she is now a girl. Sora asks isn’t yuri the whole point of this series? Well, not really, thinks Hazumu since she discovers that Yasuna (and Tomari) did like her before she became a her. Both will still hit that - Yasuna because there is no danger of Hazumu transmiting in male monochrome while Tomari steels herself to go harudo gei for Hazumu.
Much Tomarin jealousy. *happy sigh*
The way the story was told in the anime definitely created much more sympathy in how I see Yasuna. The onset of her eyesight condition must have been terrifying given how much she does love her father and the misunderstandings that it caused from that young age must also have been inconvenient at best and traumatic at worst. The art, pacing, BGM of the kiss scene (now with the all important words) and Tomari walking in on them was wonderfully done. It’s open season on Hazumu’s heart now!

That scene in front of the stairs of the school, with the wind whipping their hair, reminded me of the cliche two warriors facing off. Which makes it extra amusing, as I now try to imagine Tomari and Yasuna whipping out weapons and going Nina and Arika on each other.
I see you’re making Miu/Tomari comparisons, very appropriate for that scene.
I’m very pleased by how this series is going, granted I really didn’t have any expectations for it, so there’s little chance of me being disappointed. I’m looking forward to seeing where they are going to take this.
