An out-of-sorts Arika thinks the conflict is just an minor quarrel recalls and trivializes her pledge to Ms Maria to stop war. BATSU BUZZER. Ers-chan returns the favour from the hiking exam. Sergey finds a witness to a baby switch - more fodder for fans to speculate over. Arika tries to find Sergey to confirm her feelings but Tomoe-instigated trouble finds her instead.

More teasing from SUNRISE again about ShizNats. Natsuki absentmindedly thanks “Shizuru” when it was Yohko who poured her tea and then blushes when she realizes her mistake.
Arika is away. It’s back to just Ers-chan and Nina in the room. “Just the two of us again!” Ers-chan gives Nina some cheek-rubbing love. Nina *has* to have some clue about Ers-chan’s feelings for her, don’t you think? And has she become bolder since Arika started to break down Nina’s barriers? Go, go, Ers-chan! :)
Miyu and her hat. Yay! Tomoe gets an aggrieved Miiya to set her uniform-selling boyfriend and his goons on Arika. Probably Sergey to the rescue next week then.
I still don’t know about this whole Sergey/Nina/Arika thing they’re trying to setup, it feels contrived at this point. I understand the thinking behind the development (though I don’t agree with it, I think it’s unnecessary), but they could have done more to make it a more natural evolution, I think. And less disturbing. Well, hopefully, 15 puts this little arc to rest.
My favorite scene was Natsuki’s slip. I liken her embarrassment as similar to mine when I accidentally call a woman other than my wife, “baby.”
I still don’t think “Who is the real princess?” will have any sort of dramatic impact on how events unfold, since we know that 3 is much more important number than one in this case.
Oh, P.S. Just a little heads up. I’ve been working on a post for Mai Otome this week, that’s turning into treatise. I’m nearing 3000 words and haven’t even begun talking about what’s actually been happening in the episodes. LOL. (Maybe I should make it multiple posts.)
So, look forward to that, since I think you’ll be the only one who’ll actually read it. ;)

Dav, just saw the sub and realised that I didn’t notice Ers-chan mentally apologizing to Nina when she glomped her. Ers-chan knows about Nina’s feelings for Sergey (shudder) but has encouraged Arika to go to him - so now she can have Nina all to herself! What a cunning plan! ;)
LOL!! I agree ^^. Maybe she’s betting on every chance she comes across to get her and Nina alone in the room together. She did say “It’s been a while” since they were alone. She probably misses those days when she used to spend time with Nina before Arika came along, and when she saw Arika’s predicament… *Ding* *Ding*

I still consider it ridiculas to admit that Arika got a crush on Sergey. It seems Nina and Arika are supposed to be friends in the end …Actually aftering episode 9 in which Arika spent the night with Sergey , I almost felt like dropping it.Anyway, so far we have so many guesses,hope the storyline would extend faster.

Formidable, huh? Sounds like you had to fight your way through it. ;) If I were to publish this in some literary or academic magazine, then yeah, a title like that would be most appropriate. But, since I’m not an academic (though I play one on TV) then I’ll just stick with calling it my rambling essay.
And Erstin definitely rocks the mike. I hope she survives to the end.
