The final episode at last! Rin finds Asa at the hillside viewing point where she reminisces about all her happy memories like it’s the last night of her life. Unable to persuade her to save herself and at his wits’ end, Rin slashes his wrist. Her desire to save him, coupled with Rin channelling Mentar’s reasoning, causes Asa to use her magic to heal him thus saving them both.
Things are back to normal harem comedy. Kaede, Nerine and Lisianthus/Kikyou continue to jockey for Rin’s favour. Mayumi and Itsuki clash. Primula provides surprisingly numerous doses of humour. Ama-san no longer has to live in fear of the Yggdrasil Project.

Miruku is saved by her white tiger. Ayaa reveals that Seiren was a demoness spawned by Lilith as the latter realizes that Seiren was only interested in harnessing Miruku’s power. Hazuki and Lilith give their boat to Miruku and return to the Great Library and fix the book with the tear in it which gives Miruku her headaches and prevents her from growing up and thus finding love. As we know from the start of the previous episode, Miruku does grow up and has reached the far shore with Ayaa’s help.
The second half of the episode deals with Hazuki and Hatsumi before the latter’s disappearance. Hazuki’s seriously sexual attraction to Hatsumi is hammered home - not one but two scenes of Hazuki getting off NSFW *shlick shlick* NSFW. At the end of the episode, when Hazuki resolves to maintain the status quo, we are given a hint that Hatsumi might feel the same way about her. Continue reading ‘Yamibou 7′
Hazuki and Lilith arrive on an island and meet a young girl, Miruku, her white tiger and the demoness Seiren. Miruku, like Sakura Yoshino of Da Capo, does not age and suffers from peri peri (mind quakes) that rend the landscape but then disappear when they subside. At the end of the episode, the quakes are shown to be related to the Great Library. Hazuki dives into the sea to try and save Miruku. Continue reading ‘Yamibou 6′
