No Hazuki in this episode. Buuu. More background into the Jill-Ritsuko-Gargantua angle. Ritsuko is serving the princess Mariel of some kind of Frog country (where Suzuka Asahina will probably get arrested for her frog hating) and Garu turns up as an alchemist. The catch is both Ritsuko and Garu are over 100 years old but don’t look it. Mariel falls for Garu’s charms. He offers her up as a sacrifice is foiled by Ritsuko - seems that Jill’s name and associated memories trouble Gargantua. Alas the princess has been half-demonised and takes her own life. In the darkness and mist, Lilith appears before Gargantua and accepts Mariel’s soul as payment.

The king looked preposterous - more like a jester than a king. Ritsuko’s dominatrix get-up (as well as a submissive spell in the dungeon) was also ridiculous.
Frankly I was bored by lack of Hazuki but the episode’s pacing carried me through to the end without too much bother. Lilith is shown in a positively sinister light, in stark contrast to her whiny but essentially harmless behaviour in the past episodes. It seems that she, as a superior power, has forged a pact with Gargantua who is also not normal, given his exposure to the Door of Eve.
