Opening scenes of Gargantua prancing around with his troll trio and demoness Seiren in attendance. What a waste of time. The story proper features Hazuki and Lilith in a caveman world. The latter is mistaken for a god which represented by a huge eye because of her hat. Cavegirl Kuiru acts as interpreter, goes akogare on Hazuki and later offers herself up as a sacrifice. The real “god” shows up for dinner and is defeated by Hazuki who is installed as the new god. Hazuki and Lilith spot Ayaa and Kuiru loses her babelfish. Another dead end. No Hazuki in this episode. Buuu. More background into the Jill-Ritsuko-Gargantua angle. Ritsuko is serving the princess Mariel of some kind of Frog country (where Suzuka Asahina will probably get arrested for her frog hating) and Garu turns up as an alchemist. The catch is both Ritsuko and Garu are over 100 years old but don’t look it. Mariel falls for Garu’s charms. He offers her up as a sacrifice is foiled by Ritsuko - seems that Jill’s name and associated memories trouble Gargantua. Alas the princess has been half-demonised and takes her own life.
