Yamibou 2

On board the train, Youko smacks down the Colonel and is sheltered by the Siberian Tiger who brings Adam to her. They are then confronted at gun point by the drunk and train conductor who are also undercover spies. Everyone except her is killed. Or so she thought - the Siberian Tiger is a double agent and sends her through the window. Or so he thought. He accosts Hazuki but gets his desserts at the ends of two very pissed off and martially skilled ladies. Hazuki, who had helped Adam earlier, helps Youko to find the bomb and hands over the decoder at the destination.

I really didn’t know whether to laugh or not at Youko’s Chun Li outfit. The Gargantua angle is introduced and we know that others are looking for Eve and that she represents some kind of great power (parallels to Abenobashi and Tsubasa Chronicle, anyone?). In all, while there was plenty of fighting action, it was quite hard to see how this world related to Hazuki’s quest.

From this post, this series looks like a tenjou tenge clone. I really hope not.

I’m assuming your impression is because of the passing resemblence of Youko to Maya. The next story moves to quite a different setting.

You could say that Yamibou has the second most randomness in animedom after PPD! .

Just about every episode has a different setting. It really kinda turns people with weak minds off after three or four episodes.

Hahahaha you are watching this? I heard that if you played the game this show makes sense, but I didn’t and so was baffled the entire way. Hope you have better luck!

I’m actually rewatching it so it should make more sense this time round. I hope. LOL Had this nagging feeling that the series is under-rated esp wrt those comments about how KnM pwned it in the first episode. Now that I think about it, true that Chikane plants that great big kiss on Himeko in the first ep, but really comparing two very different series.
