Chikane struggles against temptation in Miyako’s mirror world while Souma defends Himeko against the Chainguy orochi and then the mecha of the idol, nurse catgirl and mangaka. Chikane’s despair of ever gaining Himeko’s love is Miyako’s lever to prevent the mikos from stopping her master but the lunar shrine maiden manages to resist. For now. Souma kisses Himeko after emerging victorious and this is witnessed by Chikane whose moon mark then restores the memory backups of her past live. Chikane recalls her love-at-first-sight experience with Himeko and is torn between supporting Himeko’s relationship with Souma and wanting her for herself, an opportunity which is spotted by Miyako who watches through reflective surfaces (like Despair of the Endless). Tsubasa, Souma’s long-lost brother, tries to reclaim Souma for the Dark Side which he fell into after killing their own father to defend his little bro. However, Nekkid Glowing Himeko gives him Dah Power to use his Heart Piercing Technique on Tsubasa.
