What can I say? Absolutely fabulous, darlings! Excellent blend of good story-telling (including OP and ED time), beautiful beautiful animation, humour and character development. I might have found Sousuke’s sudden power-up a bit over the top but watching too much Kira Yamato in GSD has numbed me to this kind of thing. Also, dealing with an enraged Kaname is certainly much more frightening compared to fighting five Cordarl ASs and facing down the MITHRIL governing council. Would have liked more of Mao-neesan but am content with the evening dress in Ep 5. Two thumbs up for Kyoto Animation!! d_(^_^)_b

I have no idea why Kaname needs Sousuke’s protection. This is a very Ranma ½ type of cliché that the most powerful fighter in the series can be effortlessly hammered into the ground by his love interest especially when he’s feels he has wronged her but now that their relationship has developed somewhat, it’s not galling anymore.
Well, Tessa is still a teenager afterall. A definite first for her with Sousuke addressing her as "Tessa". Though this name and honorific thing has definitely more impact for Japanese viewers but the added military dimension also adds another layer. It also resonated with me because the rank difference and military etiquette thing can be very deeply ingrained - when I last ran into my former CO, I still addressed him as "Sir" throughout the conversation even though he’s since retired and it’s been a long time since I was in uniform…
woah just marathoned eps 8-13… subarashii! what a production! Kyoto Animation is really working its way up to be counted among the Studio Greats. :) I would love to see a sequel to TSR… a 26 ep one pls!
Well, I’d very much rather it be short and good than long and disappointing, like GSD. The 13 eps fitted this particular story arc quite well. Should be a sequel since there are also other FMP! mangas.
i was dissapointed that they didn’t develop the thing they started by bringing in tessa’s brother. and tessa’s brother bieng infatuated w kagome. Maybe they left that for a sequal. theres definatley enough there for a sequal. I was happy to see the kitten molesting psychpath get finished off one and for all especially after pulling that evil taunt trick that he did with the courpse of the younger sister. The older sister’s death was deeply saddening. the AS’s arm reaching out to the younger sister before the as disintegrated. anyway i’m hoping for a sequal. i wonder how tessa will react to finding out her bro is at the head of a corporation that hands out new weapons to warring factions.
