Kabitzin is absolutely right - no matter how much I’ve bitched about GSD, I’ll still watch the OVA due for release on 2006-02-24. And I would go out and buy more Lunamaria merchandise if I could find any in London. * grovel *
So here’s a Lunamaria fanboy fantasy ending for GSD - when Shinn tries to kill Lunamaria for trying to stop his fight with Athrun, she goes SEED. Except she also has super powers from her glowing hair antenna, breaking out Saikano levels of firepower at will. She then goes on to kick everyone’s arse, establish world domination and, following that, world peace.
Being Queen of the Universe is fine but she misses ordinary life so she decides to rule the world in secret and undercover from a school-type setting. All her old friends (and even dead rivals/ enemies) are invited to be students or faculty there. The new hero and main character of the series, she must therefore have a harem. Re-enter Athrun and Shinn and everyone else. Fukuda is replaced as director by Moyism who then sets out to entertain and enthrall us with a Gundam romantic comedy spinoff. Hurrah!
