Lunamaria Hawke: The Minerva, with the moon fleet, was called to defend the first Requiem relay against just two legendary capital ships, the Eternal and Archangel, as well as Freedom and Justice. I was shocked to discover that Meyrin was onboard the Eternal and took a few hits from the DOM trio. Relay One was destroyed but the Orb fleet that attacked Daedalus was scattered by a Neo-GENESIS blast from the Messiah and I head there with a heavy heart and many doubts.
Zyl: So the expected drama I talked about in my previous GSD post hasn’t occurred yet except for the part when the Hawke sisters finally communicated again. So I only really had one swig of alcohol when the DOMs attacked Impulse but that was it. So my liver is also happy that Lunamaria lives for another episode!
Wassup with Rey telling Shinn that Lunamaria was safe and that he should trust her more because she is strong? Wasn’t he the one who was dissing her and giving her all manner of dirty looks in the past few episodes? And he also evoked Lunamaria to get Shinn to fight for Gil. What a manipulator - a worthy successor to Rau Le Creuset indeed!
A lot of history repeating itself. Mwu blocking a positron cannon shot again but not getting blown up this time and recovering his memories as well. Hurrah for the awfully gaudy Akatsuki! The return of the GENESIS cannon as a surprise weapon. The Orb ships attacking the Requiem superweapon but their Lohengrin cannons being foiled again. It was also good to see Yzak and Dearka fighting alongside Athrun.
Rey prevented Lunamaria from joining the fight against Freedom at Orb previously because he felt he would distract him and cause him to lose concentration in his efforts to protect her. Will that prediction come to pass in GSD 50?

hmm i was really really curious when i watched the last few minutes as Lunamaria survived the jet stream attack… did she call for the fight to be stopped? or did she pawn the DOMS lolx.. either way as long as the hawke sisters live i will be happy… I heard a rumour off somewhere that Shinn will fight Lunamaria in the end… she desperately wants to stop him but somehow his mind is too corrupted and he kills her… oh well anotehr 6 days wait to find out the truth hehehe…

cyw1988> Thanks! It’s quite exhausting though, esp the wait, week after week. After the DOM attack, the next time Lunamaria spoke was to ask for a deutorium beam recharge and to continue as she was (without redocking with Minerva).
Say what you will about GSD, but one thing it does is keep Luna fans ont eh edge of there seats. Here’s hoping things work out

I’m of the impression that Luna will survive as long as Shinn does. However, while I’ve been so sure that SUNRISE does not have the testicular fortitude to kill off a GSD lead, I’m not soo certain now….
I was lookinga the montly charecter ratings and Luna scored no. 2 under the top 30 female charecters with over 15,000 votes, making her the most popular Destiny charecter. This could be good

I hope so. It would just seem unesacerily cruel for anything to happen to her. I mean Im cool with Shinn’s impending defeat to the AA but teh dude has nothing else going for him other than Luna.
