Fingering Fukuda and the importance of hair antenna

The booth babe from the Tokyo Game Show 2005 probably thinks she is giving the Victory sign. But in the UK, it is akin to giving the middle finger. While its origins are disputed, it doesn’t change the fact that this is the default rude sign here in ole Blighty. It’s generally not very good for your health to indicate “two” like that here. Anyhow, here’s to you, Mr Fukuda.

The Tokyo Game Show is not complete without cosplay and there were also a few Lunamaria cosplayers. While I’m not exactly enthused by them and Lunamaria cosplay just doesn’t look like Lunamaria without the hair antenna, I have watched Comic Party and appreciate that they share my fondness for Lunamaria. Or rather, I should specify, Zaku Warrior Lunamaria. I always enjoyed how she chased after the clueless Athrun, nagged Shinn and had mecha-catfights with Stellar. But when she received Impulse, everything started going downhill. Well, just two episodes to go.

I thought Yzak and Dearka were fairly decent - they had the scowl and the smirk respectively as well.

If that chick did thaat “V sign” in New Zealand, we wouldn’t take it well … LOL, though it’s been retired for the one finger version for quite a few years now.

Newt, re: the finger - your pic of Ogura Yuuko (?) giving one of her pouty, petulant demonstrations of such on your blog is simply *priceless*! =)
