Rin, his harem plus Itsuki and Mayumi decide to have a Sunday potluck picnic. However Nerine, despite being good at studies and magic, has no experience at home economics. She turns to none other than Shigure Asa sempai for emergency cooking remedial lessons. With Asa-chan’s help, Rin really enjoys Nerine’s tamagoyaki (kind of like a rolled omelette with soup stock mixed in).
I wonder if Asa-chan gets the “Help me to cook something yummy to ensnare my guy!” cry for help from a lot from girls. Again, she shows that she can handle Rin well by firmly stopping him from questioning Nerine and to give her time to tell him herself. She seems to be getting into the habit of helping her love rivals. Nerine comes to suspect that Asa-chan is also likes Rin a lot but, at this point, Asa-chan is not fully aware of the extent of her own feelings and describes her relationship with Rin as “love-hate” .
In other news, I was wondering why Mayumi has got different coloured eyes. Even allowing for exotic eye and hair colours in anime characters, it was odd that her left eye is blue while her right eye is purple. That one of her parents is from the Makai while the other is from the human world should explain it. Apparently being a “half” born in the human world also deprives her of any Makai powers. Question mark though. The gate between the three worlds supposedly opened 10 years ago but as Mayumi is a second year high school student, she should be about 17. How do we account for the discrepancy?
