Da Capo Second Season 06

I have no clue why people who read anime blogs also want to be shielded from spoilers. If one reads episode reporting type anime blogs, one would expect plenty of spoilers, right? And many anime bloggers who don’t report but write opinion pieces often assume their readers have already seen the episode. So there. Spoiler warnings muyo!

I wasn’t even to watch, much less blog this series but the promise of a Miharu episode proved too much of a lure for me. Of course, we get much more than that. This episode is called “Miharu’s letter” and I have a tonne of Miharu screencaps. Just love her as a character. She’s not the brightest person and a little weird (bananas) but she’s cheerful, energetic and has the most common sense in the whole series. Plus she really luuuuuurves Nemu. How cool is that? They should just bump off Junichi and make it into a yuri harem series. Mwahahaha!!!

You have reached the final spoiler defence line. Turn back now or forever hold your peace.

Yeah so, Nemu returns, much to Miharu’s joy. I was wondering why Nemu told Miharu first rather than Junichi. No wonder Mr Nii-san felt slighted. But unfortunately for Miharu who really really luuuuurves her, Nemu probably found it more difficult to express herself to her lover than her best friend.

Several plot points need to be developed properly to ensure that the series doesn’t collapse into some kind of shambolic sequel. Why did Nemu leave? What was she hoping to achieve? Why return now when everyone still remembers her and that she is Junichi’s sister? I don’t expect any parental intervention here since it would inconsistent with the first season, ridiculous as the lack of imposition of parental authority to the whole situation is. Will leave the rest of the series to Stripey.
