Finally yielded to Stripey’s constant badgering to give Da Capo a try, he being spurred on by the current release of DCSS. I guess it didn’t help his sales pitch very much when he characterised Da Capo as essentially being sis-con (Nemu) vs. lolicon (Sakura), with almost every other fetish, like cat-eared maid, lesbian robot girl, big-breasted ditz, pure singing mind-reading idol etc thrown in for kicks. Why wasn’t I surprised to be told it was a H-game adaption? But what had the potential to be a super sucky series actually turned out to be fairly enjoyable after the half-way point. Kinda like Kannazuki.

Lunamaria Hawke: Hardly any screen time for me in this episode. Rey told us that Djibril had escaped from Heaven’s Base, abandoning his fellow Logos members and that it wouldn’t be so easy to end the fighting. Shinn flared up and seemed just a bit too determined to crush the rest of Logos and their supporters.

Inspired by morit and moyism to install the very clean looking equiX v1.1 WordPress (wp) theme. Preparation work prior to installation included backing up the mySQL database via myPHPAdmin followed up upgrading to wp 1.5.1.3.
Customisation included: sidebar.php 1. added links (< ?php get_links_list(); ?>) as the default for v1.1 has a separate template and file for links 2. getting the categories to sort in alphabetical order without compromising the indent for child categories - after browsing the relevant codex entry, decided to follow the much tidier syntax implied by equiX (< ?php wp_list_cats('sort_column=name','optioncount=0'); ?>) header 1. included ‘about’ in header.php 2. substituted a quick Lunamaria Hawke banner to replace the default header.png stats 1. uploaded Jeff Minard’s wp-shortstat.php plugin and activated it. Decided to make a note of it here since I, the arts & social science student, took an entire day to figure all this out. -_-;;
But am quite happy because the result, I likeeeeeeee…
Lunamaria Hawke: Before the battle, I told Shinn that I don’t blame Meyrin or Athrun. That it was really Logos’ fault. I didn’t say it but I think he knew I didn’t really blame him. After having comforted me, it was my turn to comfort him. And we kissed. He promised to protect Impulse always. We launch after Heaven’s Base caught us off guard with a pre-emptive missile strike, launching five X1-Destroys and then destroying our orbital drop reinforcements with an anti-air radiation weapon. Shinn told us that the Destroys’ weakness was against melee and we destroyed them, leading to the surrender of Heaven’s Base.
