But recent events (up to GSD 40) have cast a pall on you. And one of them is called Shinn Asuka. Probably the most unpopular Gundam lead ever. And you kissed him. After you thought he killed your sister and love interest. SUNRISE writers had better have a jolly good reason for that. (Imagines dark hoods, flaming torches and pitchforks.) But also importantly is the Curse of Shinn (whose name also sounds like ‘death’ ). Anyone he cares for and promises to protect… Well, sis-con object Mayu. And Stellar. In your case, while he did give you the Kiss of Death, he didn’t promise to protect you directly. Literally he said that he would always protect Impulse. So maybe Impulse will take the brunt of Shinn’s curse and you can dodge the bullet.
Impulse is the second reason why I’m fearing for your life. It’s a hand-me-down Gundam. But there have been lots of pilots, even a minor one like Sting, who survived the destruction of their mobile suits. Hope springs eternal. It turns out that Neo didn’t really die in GS 49.
Thirdly, you know Chairman Gilbert Dullindal’s Big Terrible Secret about the Fake Lacus, Meer Campbell, who was your erstwhile romantic rival for Athrun Zala. Knowing Big Terrible Secrets is generally not healthy for non-lead characters. As much as you are a goddess, credits-wise, the lead characters for GSD are Shinn, Athrun, Kira, Cagalli and Lacus. Maybe you’ll have a big role in a possible Captain Talia Gladys’ led mutiny but be careful of the Rau Le Creuset clone.
Anyway, why I’m really writing is because it’s 2005-07-26 and because I wanted to wish you Happy Birthday, Lunamaria. Let’s hope that you’ll be able to have a bigger and better celebration next time round.

As nice as an idea that’d be, I doubt Random Otaku would like it. It’ll take away from the excitememt of opening the box fresh when he does get it.
